A study exploring the boundless, unrestrained essence of nature in response to the limits of the photographic frame.
The motivation for this series was on capturing a visual interpretation of infinity using the natural landscape, with water reflections and dense forestry, to distort a sense of space and distance. The study was inspired by a desire for infinity as an inhabitable space, or alternative reality.

The following textures were taken at selected forests and nature reserves in and around the city of Paris. This includes Bois de Vincennes, Bois de Boulogne and Fontainebleau.

The photographs were printed on aluminium metallic film and mounted on Dibond. A selection were exhibited at Memoire de L'Avenir, Paris November 2020.
